Is your Cuisinart CFP Safety Switch not working? This is very dangerous as the machine can turn on while you are inserting the blades. This happened to us. I called Cuisinart and Robot Coupe (French Version) to get replacement parts and was told that internal parts for these appliances were not available.
I took this project on to 3D model a new switch cover and have some 3D printed out of Silicone. This part should also fit the model numbers RC 2000, and 2100.
Over time the rubber cover for this safety switch gets warn out and then begins to leak down inside the machine. This causes the safety switch to seize up. The switch can be cleaned and fixed but the switch cover needs to be replaced or the same problem will continue to happen again. The solution is to get a new Silicone Switch Cover. I am pretty sure that this cover will fit on all the early consumer French and USA Robot Coupe and Cuisinart Food Processors. In the photos, you will find some technical drawings of the part. If your worn out switch cover looks like these images and measures .656" across, this cover will work for you. I can assist with details on how to clean your safety switch if it is seized. Please just ask and I can forward you a pdf document on how I cleaned up your switch.
I apologize that this 3D printed part is expensive, this is due to the price of 3D printing silicone and the fact that the machines, which accomplish this process are very expensive and only located in Germany and Switzerland. Maybe prices will come down in the future.
